My Story
From a freelancer in Egypt to managing millions in ad spend
I didn't start in a boardroom or an agency. I started in 2017, during college in Egypt, writing content and copy for small brands as a freelancer. That was my first taste of what it meant to talk to people online and make them act.
From there I couldn't stop. I went to every event I could find, enrolled in every class worth taking, including a consumer behavior course that completely changed how I thought about why people buy. I wasn't just learning marketing. I was obsessing over it.
By the time I was ready to go deeper into performance, I had built enough client-side experience to know what actually mattered. That foundation led me to Kadoon, where I ran Google, Meta, Snapchat, and LinkedIn campaigns for brands across UAE and KSA. The results spoke for themselves: 8x ROAS on Google and 107% revenue growth in six months.
During that same period I joined Udacity, teaching digital marketing through the Future Shapers Program, a collaboration with the Abu Dhabi School of Government. Students came from completely different backgrounds, all wanting to break into digital marketing. Real projects, real mentorship, 95% satisfaction rate. Teaching forced me to understand everything at a deeper level than just doing it.
Then came Jellyfish, one of the world's largest performance agencies, where I managed $10M+ in SEM budgets for global names like Samsung and Under Armour, consistently surpassing planned KPIs by 25%.
Now at Croud, I run full-funnel paid media strategies across Google, Meta, and TikTok. Same obsession since 2017: understand the person on the other side of the ad, and make every dirham of spend count.
